London Olympics 2012 Live Stream: A Gathering of Athletes

London Olympics 2012 Live Stream are scheduled to happen in London, England, United Kingdom. From July 27 to August 12, 2012, we will see world class athletes from 205 nations participating in 26 different sports across 30 different disciplines. It will be a spectacle of athletic greatness for all the world to see. The London Olympics 2012 will also be the place for a global party for all spectators, organizers and participants.

Currently, there are 18 big screens already operating at locations across the UK. Coordinating with the BBC as well as local authorities, these LIVE SITES bring the latests news from the London Olympics 2012. Each screen is programmed to air a wide variety of UK-wide and local contents, events and partnerships with community, arts and media organisations. The screens are in place thanks to the partnership between the London 2012 Organising Committee, the BBC and the various cities.

The official mascots for the London Olympics 2012 Live Stream as well as the Paralympic Games were unveiled last May 19, 2010. Wenlock and Mandeville are mascots depicting two drops of steel from a steelworks in Bolton. They are named Wenlock in memory of the Shropshire town of Much Wenlock which held a forerunner of the current Olympic Games, and Mandeville in memory of Stoke Mandeville which is a village in Buckinghamshire where a forerunner to the Paralympics were first held.

There have been 2 London Olympics 2012 logos. The first one was created by Kino Design. It’s a ribbon with blue, yellow, black, green and red stripes winding through the text “London 2012″ depicting the shape of the River Thames in East London. The current and official logo was designed by Wolff Olins at the cost of �400,000. It is a representation of the number 2012, with the Olympic Rings embedded with the zero.

The Olympics will be a huge event that will be closely followed by audiences from all over the world.
